Several employees from A.C.E. Building Service attended the 2016 Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin Convention. The program was broken up into specific areas of focus, including a Tech Forum, Workers Safety Conference, Management Conference and Supervisory Training.

Stan Johnson, PE, LEED AP; and Chris Herzog, Project Development; attended the Tech Forum and Management Conference segments. The Tech Forum educated companies on how they can use technology to connect to the field through smart devices and websites to help their company improve communications with field supervisors, foremen and project managers. The Management Conference covered topics such as productivity and financial management, labor and legal issues; business management and leadership development.

Max Maigatter, Tuffy Meidl, John Cavanaugh and Jim Noel attended the Workers’ Safety Conference and Supervisory Training. Topics discussed in the Workers’ Safety Conference included jobsite hazards, trench safety, OSHA construction updates, electrical safety, fall protection, ladder safety and hearing loss. Supervisory training provided participants with tools for improving their ability to manage projects, such as removing field management obstacles and 10 things every field manager should consider before they start.
