Office Administrator Tina earned her Associate degree in Marketing at Lakeshore Technical College. She has more than 20 years of experience in customer service and marketing roles—mainly in small businesses where she wore many hats including accounting, purchasing, customer service, and scheduling. At A.C.E., Tina handles accounts payable, human resources and marketing.
A.C.E. Building Service announced the retirement of former owners Bill Shimek and Stan Johnson. The announcement follows the fulfillment of a succession plan that was initiated in 2019 and included the transfer of ownership in 2021 to Chris Herzog, Stuart Johnson, Carolyn Hoffmann, and Max Maigatter.
A.C.E. Building Service, a Northeast Wisconsin-based provider of commercial and industrial construction services, announced today the acquisition of Manitowoc, Wisconsin-based SMI Civil & Structural Engineers. The acquisition of SMI allows for the expansion of in-house design/build capabilities to include surveying, structural engineering, and civil engineering. SMI’s Licensed Professional Engineer, Jeff Gordon, will join the A.C.E. Building Service team.

Mike Frozena of A.C.E. Building Service attended a Wisconsin Commercial Building Code Refresher seminar in Madison to stay current on building requirements as required by the state of Wisconsin. By attending this annual code update program, A.C.E. is able to remain up to date with building code requirements and how to best use the code for customer projects.
Stan Johnson and Chris Herzog recently attended the 2017 Butler® Builder Sales Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia. The two joined more than 700 builders from across North America to learn in-depth information, innovations and updates on new building products. A.C.E. was recognized as a high performance builder by Butler Manufacturing for the 2016 calendar year.
Several employees from A.C.E. Building Service attended the 2017 Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) of Wisconsin Convention. The program was broken up into specific areas of focus, including a Marketing and Tech Forum, Safety Conference, Management Conference and Supervisory Training.
