    A.C.E. Building Service crews began renovating an interior area of a college to create a new student and visitor welcome center, along with a coffee bar, lounge, and conference room. During the project, they encountered an unexpected challenge: a large mechanical chase was discovered in what was planned to be open space. Since the original documents didn’t show the placement of mechanical elements, the final design had to be adjusted on the fly to accommodate this finding.
