    Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry

    This 24,000-square-foot Butler® pre-engineered metal building expansion is designed and constructed for heavy industrial applications. The facility accommodates two 10-ton overhead bridge cranes and includes three 6-foot tall perimeter concrete walls, energy-efficient LED lighting, and an internal gutter to accept storm water from the adjacent building’s roof. The project presented significant site challenges in that all three new walls were 10 feet from their respective adjacent property lines.

    A design-build project, the addition accommodates two 10-ton overhead bridge cranes. The expansion project presented several challenges. For example, two of the new walls were only 10’ from their respective property lines and the third a mere 2’ away.
