Country Visions contracted A.C.E. to do a 2,130 square foot renovation at the Manitowoc location, marking the fifth convenience store construction project A.C.E. has completed for Country Visions. The project included a new front counter, beverage counter, liquor & wine area, merchandise display areas, fuel pump equipment, and resurfacing the parking lot.

The convenience store remained in operation throughout almost the entirety of the project, even when the entire parking lot was being resurfaced. The only exception was when the fuel pump equipment was replaced. The project was broken into four phases to accomplish this, allowing the store to remain open and customers a safe shopping experience.

On a previous Country Visions project, A.C.E. developed an entrance canopy feature on the building that the company adopted as a standard for when other stores are updated. The canopy detail was modified for this location as a cost-saving measure while still capturing the essence of the branded entrance look.

The existing parking lot was severely deteriorated, mainly due to inadequate drainage. A.C.E. developed a new grading and paving plan for the store and added minimal amounts of storm sewer to control costs while promoting positive drainage around the building.
