The Fleet Maintenance Shop was built for Quality State Oil Company route vehicles. Construction of the new 3,200 square foot pre-engineered steel building started in May 2020 and was completed in September 2020.
This project was a ground-up design-build commercial construction project comprising of the planning and construction of the building as well as site development, including parking lot design, exterior illumination, security gates, and landscaping. To create visual interest at a low cost, an accent metal panel was utilized on the building's exterior. Every detail was tailored specifically to Quality State Oil's needs in terms of size, orientation, and building amenities.
Unique design considerations included:
- Tractor-trailer truck accommodations
- Surfaces with a minimal slope so that empty tanker trucks don't get stuck in snow and ice conditions
- Optimal drainage
