A Division of A.C.E. Building Service, attended the 76th Annual Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors’ Institute held in Wisconsin Dells
Manitowoc, WIS, February (2025) – Jeff DeZeeuw and Brooke Bastian of Corner Point, a division of A.C.E. Building Service, attended the 76th Annual Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors (WSLS) Institute in Wisconsin Dells. DeZeeuw and Bastian joined more than 1,100 professionals from across the state, representing A.C.E. Building Service, a Northeast Wisconsin-based provider of commercial and industrial construction services.
DeZeeuw attended sessions including "Is the Client’s Legal Description Defensible?" and "What Makes a Document Recordable? Inconsistencies with Counties," which examined challenges in property documentation and electronic recording advancements. He also participated in discussions on tax increment financing and recent court cases impacting land surveying.
Bastian attended sessions such as "Principles of Adverse Possession" and "Title Boundary and Field Evidence," which explored property law complexities, including discrepancies between recorded deeds and physical survey findings.
