HTT Inc. Manufacturing Facility Expansion

HTT Inc partnered with A.C.E. Building Service, a leading precision metal stamping company serving the automotive, agriculture, and construction industries, to deliver a 32,075-square-foot expansion of their Sheboygan manufacturing facility.

The project was far from a typical addition. Before construction could begin, a city street and seven major utilities (including water, sewer, natural gas, high-voltage transmission, and fiber optic) had to be vacated or relocated. This required months of coordination with the City of Sheboygan, local utility providers, and private service companies.

A.C.E. navigated every challenge with precision, from phased foundation pours to complex electrical consolidation, reducing three independent power services to two without disrupting operations. The team also developed an innovative snow load solution, incorporating a steel bay addition to transfer load without reinforcing the existing structure, saving both time and cost.

The expansion features precast insulated concrete panels, metal wall systems, and new metal recycling and loading docks with integrated pedestrian alert systems to enhance safety. Despite added scope, including three deep press pit foundations, the project was completed on schedule and within budget.

The result: a facility designed for growth, efficiency, and long-term success for one of Sheboygan’s premier manufacturers.
