Concrete Foreman

We are seeking a construction professional for a leadership role in concrete operations. A successful applicant is someone who is skilled in concrete finishing, setting concrete forms, grading and finishing interior and exterior concrete. Experience planning concrete pours and the oversight of concrete placement is required.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Concrete Foreman is a hands-on, working foreman and performs a variety of tasks for all types of commercial and industrial construction sites specializing in concrete.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Setting concrete forms, grading and finishing interior and exterior concrete
• Operate and oversee concrete finishing equipment
• Strong leadership skills to oversee the entire project, ensure crew is working safely and efficiently
• Responsible for communicating project progress to field superintendent
• Operate equipment such as skidsteers, finishers and other construction equipment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Skilled finisher or has the experience and knowledge to perform concrete work
• Physically capable including strength, hand-eye coordination, endurance and ability to stand for long periods of time
• Lead and mentor by example
• Communicate effectively, both oral and written
• Basic smartphone skills
• Detail oriented and efficient in their work
• Willingness to perform other tasks beyond concrete
• Skilled in reading blueprints and designs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Masonry experience
