A.C.E. Building Service completes KNM expansion project

A.C.E. Building Service has completed an expansion project for KNM, LLC in Manitowoc. The new 6,000-square-foot Butler® pre-engineered metal building adds to their existing 6,000-square-foot facility and creates greater capacity to support KNM’s customer needs. The expansion will also provide needed work space for current employees and allow room for additional growth.

A.C.E. served as design/build contractor for the building project, which was designed to accommodate multiple overhead jib cranes. The addition of several pieces of fabrication equipment was part of the expansion, including a Mitsubishi MV 2400K wire EDM, KMT C 370 cold saw, Carell plate roller and Carell ring roller.

KNM is a full-service CNC machine shop that offers CNC vertical milling with 30" x 60" travel; CNC horizontal milling with 20" x 34" travel; and surface, rotary grinding and tool & die making. They also provide industrial maintenance services including onsite installation, machine guarding, electromechanical services, certified welding, machine building, machine repair, millwright services, and preventive maintenance support.
