Client: Bank First
Project Delivery: Design/Build, Office Renovation
Location: Reedsville, Wisconsin
A.C.E. Building Service partnered with Bank First to transform an existing building in Reedsville, Wisconsin into a modern, full-service branch. The project consolidated two rural locations into one efficient space, prioritizing functionality, sustainability, and high visibility along U.S. Highway 10.
The original structure, formerly home to an insurance brokerage, underwent a nearly complete interior renovation to meet the operational needs of a contemporary bank. The redesign optimized the floor plan, incorporating a glass-enclosed conference room and upgraded customer service areas.
On the exterior, the outdated vinyl siding was replaced with wood-look steel siding and rich stone accents, creating a sophisticated and durable façade. These materials extended to the newly constructed drive-through canopy, which prominently features the Bank First logo for maximum roadside visibility.
While the renovation appeared straightforward, we were presented with a couple of challenges along the way:
Sustainability was a key focus of this project. Instead of demolishing one of its two existing locations, Bank First opted to purchase and renovate a different building, selling the previous locations for reuse. Additionally, many of the materials used in the renovation—including flooring, framing, siding, natural stone, and pavement—were selected for their sustainability, featuring either highly renewable resources or a high percentage of pre- and post-consumer recycled content.
By blending strategic design with thoughtful material selection, A.C.E. Building Service delivered a modern banking facility that supports Bank First’s mission of community investment and environmental responsibility.
