ABTS Storage

Dan Abts had an oversized lot next to his current business and wanted to venture into something new with his land. He ultimately decided to utilize the extra space next door to build a self-storage company. He looked at several options but knew from his past experiences working with A.C.E. Building Service and the Butler MR-24 roof system, that we were the way to go.

The lot was a trapezoidal shape and posed a challenge for space optimization. We chose to construct three individual buildings of varying sizes to maximize space on the site.

The self-storage units are Butler pre-engineered structures, which are built for decades of little-to-no maintenance. Tenants can be assured that their belongings are safe and well protected with the Butler MR-24 standing seam roof, the only standing seam roof on the market that features the Pittsburgh double-lock seam.

All structural components are galvanized steel and all partition walls separating storage units are non-combustible construction. The local municipality required architectural materials to be used on the building's elevations that faced the road. We integrated split-face masonry veneer and composite panel lap siding to satisfy those requirements and provide a durable, low maintenance finish.

With these sturdy structures in place, Dan was able to start his self-storage business with his best foot forward!
